a central leader and develop a full branch
structure.
Our standard permanent branch
height begins four feet from the ground.
Most cultvars are finished with branchless
trunk below the permanent branch structure.
Slow to medium growing species such as
oaks are allowed to maintain their temporary
branch structure longer than other species
to develop a sturdy height to trunk diameter
ratio.
Custom
Pruning Options
Custom
pruning is available for orders grown on
contract. You can specify at what
height the main branch structure should
begin, or request a natural look, which
maintains a full branch structure to the
ground. The ability to custom prune
enables us to grow for a specific application
or project.
